Choir at Evendine House
This week the residents at Evendine House had a special visit from a local choir.
The choir provided our residents with an afternoon of entertainment and together they sang along to some old favourites.
Listening to music can help reduce anxiety and depression, enhances quality of life and helps to maintain speech and language skills. It has also been proven that music can spark old memories in dementia patients, as well as improving mood and benefitting your wellbeing.
Our residents thoroughly enjoyed listening to the choir, and we all had fun joining in!
